Plain-English terms for business customers. Axiom Atelier Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17454858. Last updated 17 October 2026 (Black Friday offer, domains, hosting and handover added).
Each package includes what's listed on the websites page at the time you book: page count, features, number of revision rounds and target timeline. Anything outside that list is quoted in writing before any work starts.
Builds: 50% deposit to book, balance due when you approve the finished site and before it goes live. Care plans are billed monthly in advance by Stripe. Prices are as shown at checkout.
Target timelines (about 7 working days for Starter, 14 for Business) start once we've received your completed questionnaire, logo and photos. Delays in getting content or feedback move the timeline accordingly. If we expect to miss a date we'll tell you in advance.
Starter includes 2 rounds and Business 3 rounds of revisions on the preview. A round is one consolidated list of changes. Extra rounds or new features are quoted first.
Your domain is registered in your business's name, in a registrar account that you own and control, and you pay the registrar directly (typically around £10 to £20 a year). If you'd like, we can buy the domain for you: it's still registered to you and moved into your own account, and we recharge the registrar's price at cost, with no mark-up. You're responsible for renewing your domain and keeping your registrar login safe. If a domain lapses, the site and any email on it stop working, and that isn't something we can be responsible for. We only ask for DNS access, or give you the records to add yourself, and we never change your email (MX) records unless you ask us to in writing.
Business email (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or similar) isn't part of our packages. It's contracted and billed directly between you and the email provider, in your name. We can help with setting it up and the DNS records as a quoted extra, but the provider is responsible for the service.
Hosting is included only while a Care, Care Plus or Care Plus + Local SEO plan is active and paid. It runs on our infrastructure: our account with Vercel, a third-party hosting provider. Hosting isn't sold on its own. If a Care payment is more than 14 days overdue we'll email you, and if it's still unpaid 7 days after that we may take the site offline until it's paid or handed over.
Care plans run month to month with no minimum term. Cancel by email at any time; the plan ends at the end of the paid month. Unused edit time doesn't roll over. No exit fee.
If you buy a build without a Care plan, or you cancel Care, we hand the site over within 30 days. That's 30 days from launch for a build-only client, or from the end of the last paid month if you cancel Care. You get the site's code (as a GitHub repository transfer or a zip file), the content and images, and written steps to deploy it on your own hosting, such as your own Vercel or Netlify account or another host you choose. We'll keep the site online on our infrastructure during that 30-day handover period. After that, it's removed from our hosting, and moving your domain's DNS to the new host is your responsibility. We'll give you the records you need.
The domain is always yours. You own the text, photos and logos you supply. Once the build is paid in full, you own the website design, content and code we created for you. Until then, the work remains ours and we won't hand it over or put it live. We may keep and reuse general components and tools that we built independently and that aren't specific to your business, and we may list the site as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.
If you cancel before we've started designing, we refund your deposit in full. After design work has started, the deposit covers work done and isn't refundable, but you keep whatever has been produced. If we can't deliver, we refund what you've paid for undelivered work.
You confirm you have the right to use the content you send us and that your business claims are accurate. We won't publish fake reviews, testimonials or stock photos presented as your work.
We monitor sites on a Care plan and aim to keep them fast and online, but we don't guarantee uptime or that a site will always be available or error-free. Planned maintenance is done at quiet times where possible. We aren't responsible for downtime or problems caused by third-party services we or you rely on, including the hosting provider (Vercel), domain registrars, DNS providers, email providers (Google, Microsoft), payment providers (Stripe), form and email delivery services, or internet outages. Nor are we responsible for events outside our reasonable control, such as cyber attacks on those providers, power or network failures, or changes a provider makes to its service. If an outage affects your site, we'll work to restore it as soon as the third party allows.
We build sites to good standards for speed, accessibility and the SEO basics, but we don't guarantee search rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales.
These terms are for business customers only. Our total liability to you, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data. We keep version-controlled backups of sites on a Care plan, but you should keep your own copies of your content. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content and claims on your site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
Where your site collects enquiries, you're the data controller and we process data for you to run the site. See our privacy policy. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales.
25% off the Starter and Business website build prices with promotion code BLACKFRIDAY25: Starter £449 (normally £599) and Business £974 (normally £1,299). The offer is valid for orders placed, meaning the deposit paid with the code applied, from 17 October 2026 until 23:59 UK time on 30 November 2026. The code then stops working automatically. The code takes 25% off the deposit at checkout (Starter £224.25, Business £486.75), and the balance on approval is reduced to match (Starter £224.75, Business £487.25), so the total is exactly £449 or £974. It applies to the build only. It does not apply to Care, Care Plus or the Care Plus + Local SEO bundle, to extra work quoted separately, or to custom quotes. One use per business, and it can't be combined with any other discount or exchanged for cash. Build timelines and all other terms above apply as normal.
